Accessibility

We want StreamCrea to be usable by everyone, with a keyboard, a screen reader or a high zoom level.
Target level
The public pages and the app aim for WCAG 2.1 level AA. The public pages are checked automatically on every release (axe-core, light and dark, on desktop and phone); the app is checked by hand on the main journeys.
What is in place
- a "Skip to content" link and structured headings;
- full keyboard navigation, visible focus;
- text alternatives on images that carry information; decorative images are ignored by screen readers;
- contrast checked for every demo theme;
- reduced animations when your system asks for it ("reduce motion"), and a button to turn them off.
Known limitations
- The animated previews of the demo and the control room are not described frame by frame: their content is repeated as text next to them.
- The animation editor needs a mouse or touch screen to move layers; positions can also be set with the keyboard in the properties panel.
Report a problem
If something prevents you from using StreamCrea, write to contact@streamcrea.com with the page and what you use (browser, screen reader). We will answer and offer a fix or another way to get the same result.
